	Who is a CDA ?
	A Channel Development Associate is a person who operates like a franchisee on an outsourced service model and runs his business like a full fledged branch office.
	The ideal Channel Development Associate (CDA) is an individual with a strong entrepreneurial drive, managerial expertise, domain knowledge and a passion to succeed against all odds. Apart from strong life insurance business acumen, CDA must possess high ethical standards of business and impeccable credential in the market.
	CDA’s support forms one of the most critical element in the distribution strategy of Reliance Life Insurance and as a result has a very high sensitivity for facilitating deliverables under the business plan.
	What is the business model ?
	The CDA is required to recruit, train and motivate agents to accomplish the minimum business expectations and also exceed them.
	The CDA cannot directly mobilize business under his code and he can only route business through agents recruited by him but the direct license code will be with Reliance Life Insurance.
	Based on the proven credentials of a CDA candidate, he / she may begin operations as a Base CDA and move up depending on his/her performance at various levels.
	CDAs will be constantly encouraged to grow from one level to another. Once he / she crosses the specified performance level of each category (Base level, Silver Level etc.), he / she would be eligible to move-up to the next category subject to the fulfillment of the required minimum attributes.
